I have looked into the future and it is good!
I bid, on behalf of you all, a welcome, nay a repturous welcome to the new MG. The MGF as it will be known, is a worthy successor to 50 or so years of sports car MG's that have paved the way to the rebirth of the legend that is MG, yet it is a brand new car bristling with the 1990's technology, some of it dictated to some people, controversial European directives which make it incredibly difficult to design a car with any distinctive style. …....... the designers and engineers at Rover have succeeded in putting together the definitive sports car of the 1990's which is going to surplant the pretenders who have tried to fill the gap since that black day 15 years ago.
If it goes as well as it looks, then the spirit of Kimber has bequeathed a great and continuing heritage. …...... as sales commence in August this Club will be bidding a warm welcome to many new members, who will immediately benefit with the inception of our MGF Register and I wager it now won't be long until we see them in all aspects of our social and competitive activities.
